Maa Modheshwari Maa

Maa Modheshwari Maa

It is believed that the demon Karnat was creating havoc in the region by disturbing the Brahmins, Vaishyas during their prayers. Seeking protection from the demon, all the saints went to the goddess Parvatimata. On hearing their grievances, she was angry and started throwing fire from her mouth, which gave birth to an aspect of her known as Modheshwarimata. This incarnation of the goddess has eighteen arms, each having a weapon, like trident and dagger

The goddess is depicted as having eighteen arms, each having a weapon, including a trishula, khaḍga, talwar, kamandala, shankha, gada, pash, danda, damaru.

History of Modheshwari Maa:- Mahasud-13 is the birthday of Matangi maa and on this day in the Modhera temple is celebrated in the 'Patotsav'. Then let us know that Modheshwari's history.

Modhera Temple has become the center of faith in the countryside including Gujarat, due to the sacred presence of Modheshwari Mataji in Modhera, which has become famous due to the historic Sun Temple of North Gujarat. Modhera's old name was Moharkpur. It is known as "Satyamandir" in the Tretayuga, "Vedabhavana" in Dwaparay, "Moharakpur" and "Dharmanay" in Kaliug and "Modhera" in medieval times. The area around it was known as Dharmantra, which was established in Satyug. Brahma did penance on this holy land of Modhera. There were many rishi-monis dishes here.

When Allauddin Khilji guided the demise of Patan, then at that time Modhera Brahmin and Vaishya Samaj faced a lot of pressure in Modhera. But they could not cope very much and they were forced to leave the Modhera. But allahuddin Khilji did not break the statue of Modheshwari Mataji or destroy the idol of the statue of the statue of Mataji, and the Mod Brahmin moved to Modhera, Malva, Ujjain, Bhopal, Indore and the different regions of Mewar of Rajasthan. All this happened on the day of Dhuleti.

The entire society of society is like the knowledge of the pragya history of Shri Modheshwari. There was a lot of misery in the area of Modhera. Due to the horrors of demons, the day went on increasing, so Wipro and the weavers here praised him on the feet of Jai Gadgadbhav. And we demanded that we should give up the torture of Karnat.

By listening to the prayers of the devotees, the mother was manifested as a spontaneous rage. And the lights started fluttering from their mouths. Red flowers were adorned in the neck. There were different weapons in Mataji's eighteen Bhujas.

Due to such ferocity, the demons are hid, but they find it in and both of them have a terrible battle. When the demon goes to kill the goddess and kills the goddess, the goddess Trishul keeps her in the chest of the devil. But other demons are produced from the blood of Maya. But the Goddess destroys all the demons, one after another, and saves the people of the village from the harassment of the demons, since then this goddess is worshiped as a child of Goddess and unborn.

In Modheshwari, it is a multiplicity of the Brahmins, Mods, and Models spread across the entire world. Modhera's face became the main two parts of the Brahmin community, in which the Mod Brahmin and the Mod Vaishya Samaj became. Of them, in Mod Brahman Samaj, there are six parts in Chartvadi, Trikhya, Dhanuja, Tandlaja, Agiyaasana and Jiddimal.

Then again this temple was rehabilitated. Mataji's Patotsav is celebrated here every year since the date of Swatantra 1966 Mahasud Teras, and since it has been honored on the day of Mahasud Teras, and devotees do not do any darshan.
